As you say they must already have some idea of progress and from past history we know that pyc will not immediately announce failures, they will just go quiet. The fact they are eluding to results to be released shortly knowing what they must know now is good. The only issue is the market seems a little weary or suspicious at the moment. Surely if they were close to a breakthrough interest would already be building. I guess the only thing remaining is true validation of something ground breaking, which may be what we get if we're lucky? I think they have got the message that external validation is required so this quarter should be interesting. The fact they call announcements so close must also meen it is inevitable this time within weeks.
