In light of Japan's recent deployment of military farces to Iraq, surely it is clear that nations of the world must divert funds from bloated education sectors to armaments and defence.
The current world situation is one that does not allow for indulgent and needless peace-time spending on luxuries such as education.
John Howard deserves the utmost praise for his brave comments on the Public School System in Australia and indeed for his bold stance against international terrorism.
