GROZNY, March 1. /TASS/. The Akhmat commando unit, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Second Army Corps and paratroopers have stormed and seized several Ukrainian fortified posts near the city of Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), Chechnya’s head Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on Telegram.
"Several fortified posts were detected and taken by storm near the city of Kremennaya as a result of an offensive operation carried out by the Akhmat commando unit together with the Russian Defense Ministry’s Second Army Corps and paratroopers," he pointed out. According to Kadyrov, nine members of Ukraine’s National Guard were killed and one was captured.
"Commander of the Akhmat commando unit Ismail aka Hunter says that the list of Ukrainian prisoners of war is updated every day. Our fighters are doing a great job in this regard. Ukrainian POWs are treated well. After being brought to Russian positions, they get food and the necessary medical assistance," Chechnya's leader added.
