Vanadium demand is low at the moment as a result of construction downturn.
Construction will pick back up and VRFB battery demand will increase likely at similar times which should drive the spot price of Vanadium through the roof.
In the mean time RVT holds enough cash for probably ten quarters of operations if they have to wait, all the way to investment decision.
The quarterly report for December 24, was also excellent. Mention of a new process to refine vanadium through to VRFB electrolyte on the cheap. No doubt a product of Chinese relationships.
Demand for renewable energy storage will go through the roof. VRFB is THE storage solution for grid scale.
Demand for VRFB electrolyte subsequently goes through the roof, RVT comes in to supply 10% of world demand.
Construction demand comes back, further demand on Vanadium.
Vanadium price then jumps and RVT is making bank.
They’ve got the critical mineral in the ground. They’ve got relationships to build technical knowledge. They have cash to last them until investment decision. They’re pulling political strings. Out of all the speculative vanadium players this is the one to have for me.
