Message to the CEO:
Look to the great brand renewals globally.
Most recently adidas and "Originals" range.
For years Nike (air) etc killed adidas globally; Originals has now blitzed the market making massive inroads in Nike's market share, reporting sales growth in excess of 30% year on year in many geographies including Australia. Great product, near flawless marketing for target market. Old brand renewed like few others.
Think long and hard about brand and design revival at Millers. Study intensely the great turnaround stories globally. Make the Millers leadership changes necessary if all you see is more of the same.
Digital innovation is a must, but second place to great product design, and marketing edge. Amazon will meet you on digital, but won't on design and marketing.
Cheap (iphone) looking video shoots and crap designs simply won't cut it. Taste and style don't need to be expensive.
