In addition, with the steady increase in Alexium’s involvement with the US DoD, Natick and
Defense Sector programs, Alexium has recently appointed John Stelling to the role of Defense
Projects Manager. “John brings substantial defense sector experience gained over 8 years
working with contractors to the US DoD in the textiles sector, whilst with Milliken & Company”
said Nicholas Clark, Alexium CEO and Executive Director.
Yep the 180 days is almost up. For those unfamiliar, the 2015 National Defense Authorization Act, which calls on the Secretary of Defense, within 180 days, to complete a study on emerging flame resistant technologies and evaluate whether these technologies can provide a cost effective protection to a wider range of service members.
