    Lapdog, well put. Sure we we can't coax you to stand in the next election. you've got my vote.

    Our economy is so distorted by poor policy that it is difficult to say which industries would be viable if we were to return to a fair market. Case in point, is the price farmer's receive for their produce. Governments have been unable to prevent the anti-competitive behaviour of the large supermarket chains so that the real price signals are distorted. Yet, a financial institution receives a price for its product which is not reflective of its real worth. The issue is market power and the government's inept response to it for political reasons. Small players will struggle in this environment.
