    The ATO will have targeted each and every one of these individuals at least once. Why else do they have teams of lawyers and accountants there to deal with tax affairs?

    I will guarantee that they are following the tax act to the letter, and exploiting every weakness and loophole in existence. And obeying the law as it stands.

    If you really want to tackle this, structural changes to australian asset wealth have to happen which is politically unpalatable.

    Or another idea - make tax preparation costs and legal costs undeductible. That will throw the tax industry under a bus!
