fish schools are generally composed of the same species, but in that area are there no predatory schools of fish that feed on sardines? and from the research that i have done. i can find evidence suggesting that only the sardines were effected.

algae is a possible explanation for the sardines. many holes in that theory, it also doesn't explain why birds are effected and suddenly drop out of the sky. if it was digested poison, then every bird would have had to eat at exactly the same time for the effects to occur simultaneously.

you assume that it was an algal bloom low oxygen fish kill? can that also explain birds dying? and for that matter, can you prove that magnetism has nothing to do with any of these occurences? if you can please enlighten us.
