it's a possible explanation. doesn't explain why the turtle doves and jackdaws. both migratory birds were in europe during winter, when they should have been much farther south.
the fireworks explanation doesn't sit to well as last new years eve was the biggest fireworks display that city had seen. no dead birds.
and the crabs falling victim to cold and yet no crab deaths in alaska. (previous posts).
we know one thing for sure and that is what ever is killing these creatures is very much species specific.
