I have spent a lot of time probably just like so many others planning, and adding extra to my Super over the years. I’ve never been on a very big wage. But I budgeted hard and stuck to it.

I’ll watch Tuesday night Budget with interest.

But I know I will most likely have to rethink my initial retirement strategy now and make some changes.

Most things in life are not set in concrete, but I’m terribly disappointed with this change after making so many sacrifices.

so how much super does anyone need to provide a substantial income stream?

surely $3Mn is more than enough - therefore super should not be used simply as a tax minimisation strategy.

so yeh.... rethink your investments and how these are managed. people should stop hiding their investments in superannuation - its only a rort.
