They will prescribe just one dose which is about 12mg, maybe x2 if you're lucky.
You need to be able to take it at least once every 2 weeks if a virus is in your community for protection and every day if you catch that virus. That means you need at an absolute minimum 10x and preferably 20x that dose to be prepared for when you might need it.
I got some for livestock which gives me 10 doses for $26 and was wonderful when I got a very heavy cold recently. However I would prefer to get it from the chemist and that's where it's effectively outlawed for C19 in suitable quantities.
