when all this rubbish was going around 2 things i remember that were facts.
1. the RBA actually borrowed 53 or 54 billon in US dollars
2. NAB and Westpac have a presence in the US hence their borrowings.
not sure how commentators convert that into a bailout.
the banks needed money to lend. i was borrowing my ass off. LOL.
