Milo's cynical press conference showed he is a quite skilled politician in turning backflips.
Somehow, he believes he is not advocating for pedophilia, but his definition of pedophilia isn't the same as the rest of us. Thirteen year old boys are ok for guys like Milo, just the same as 13-year-old girls were fine for a scumbag like Roman Polanski. Even in trying to backtrack on that long-held belief to save his career, he still dropped a hint that he believed it.
In the original interview, he specifically defined pedophilia as being with a child with undeveloped sex organs. For him, that's wrong. But he's ok with an older man having sex with a 13-year-old boy, and believes it may even be beneficial. In his press conference he weaselled his way around that one, saying he was talking about his own experiences only. If you listen to the original interview, it's clear that statement in the press conference is a baldfaced lie.
But note that he referenced the 14-year-old age of consent in Germany. He couldn't help hinting that he still believes in using "free speech" and his fame/notoriety to have anal sex with 13-year-old kids.
