Spot on and well spotted. This is type of "pit" that you might generate in first pass whittle for a scoping study. The DFS just doesn't pass muster if this is what the estimates are based on. Have they even done the geotechnical coring to derive valid design criteria for a pit that size?
But that's what an over-capitalised explorer has to do. Promote and make grandiose statements then scurry around to fill in the details before anyone notices. Or before the commodity price reverts to the mean.
