An issue for MIN apart from the macro lithium and IO market and its high debt load is the fact its debt is nearly all in USD. The AUD has now dropped to 0.66. It was at 0.68 aon Dec 31, the end of the last reporting period. The AUD value of the debt is higher now and the interest repayments in AUD are increasing.
Also its debt has increased since Dec 31 as well. It’s not managements fault but unfortunately the market could not have turned at a worse possible time for MIN just as embarked on massive cap ex.
