The scrutiny intensified after it emerged that Ellison’s daughter, Kasey Sandstrom—a MinRes employee—and her husband held shares in Kali Metals around the time MinRes acquired a 14% stake in the company. Other close associates, including Ellison’s mother-in-law, reportedly profited significantly from early share sales.
