This could well be true. I have a 20,000 parcel bought 21Feb15 at $1.105 ($22,100) that before the TO offer was worth $380.* I have, since Nov 16, been averaging down of course, so my total average SP value has been dramatically reduced (to <5 cents), plus profits from trading from 1 cent up to 5 cents in late 2016/early 2017 (>$50,000 profit) has negated the loss completely, but I am still on AGO books as having a parcel worth less than $500. I'll eventually sell this parcel when I want to take the on-paper 'loss' for tax purposes.

*Yeah, yeah, I know, crap trading technique to put one's head in the sand when the SP falls and not taking stop losses at the right time, but I was young and naive then, and I am so much older and wiser now.
