    Hi Pat
I assume you mean awe, and I totally agree especially min res who got outbid by Mitsui.
Interesting to note, and common knowledge to many that minres hired (poached? ) shelley Robertson (then CEO of nwe) to look after their 80pc of ep 368 (nwe 20pc, but potless) to our north, and thought to be a very good prospect Imo.
This aligns Imv with minres' very strong desire to lock down gas supplies for its other mineral processing plans in the region ( lithium amongst others, along with wes after their recent kdr acquisition).
So do min act now, or risk drilling and missing in ep368?....urmmm tough one .
The old better to have and not need, than to need and not have, paradox ?
I would go as far to say this is more than a rumour , it is the most likely probable outcome of years of min positioning in the Perth basin, including lending funds to ego, taking their permits on failure to service debt, poaching CEO's with insider knowledge of the pb, said CEO's handpicking their ( minres friendly) replacement.
I'd be astonished if there isn't some form of consolidation , maybe some more proving up to be done ,....but it's coming Imo.
    Gltahs tc
