ENGIN INCREASES HOLDING OF UNWIRED (UNW) TO OVER 19.8%
Sydney - 19th September 2007:
Engin today confirms that it has increased its holding in the ordinary shares of Unwired
Group Limited (“Unwired” - UNW.ASX) from 11.37 per cent, to over 19.8 per cent
through a series of transactions, mainly at 45 cents per share. The shares were bought
from interests associated with Unwired’s former Director (and Chairman) Steve Cosser.
As previously stated, the stake has been acquired for investment purposes and should
enable Engin, as a significant shareholder, to play a prominent role in the
development of wireless broadband technologies across Australia. Engin acquired
the additional Unwired shares using debt funding provided by a Seven Network group
company (“Seven” - SEV.ASX).
