Morning all,
Clearing the mind is quite easy for about 90/95% of people. There are a range of similar techniques – below is one of them. It is like a magic wand for those who have a non stop buzz of thinking activity and just cannot silence it.
Find somewhere low stimuli whilst learning it --------- low noise mainly.
If you have access to earbuds or phones – and you can get some hemi snych music – music rather than anything with speaking – you can buy hemi synch off the net from the Monroe Institute --- and, yes, I do mean hemisynch – not holosynch.
Anyway – if you have it = good. If you don’t – then just go ahead without it – but in a quiet non disturbing environment.
Sit or lay ----------------- initially probably sit to learn ------------ if you lay down, almost odds on you will fall asleep – certainly if you are tired or exhausted.
With or without – quiet music. ---------
Close your eyes.
Imagine a bubble floating in space ----- yes, space – the place with stars and things.
Now, imagine that bubble is your mind.
See it – filled with confusion. See the mass of annoying thoughts – look at them – what a mess.
Now, just leave them alone and imagine a garage door on the left side of that bubble.
Any sort of door – rolla door or tilt a door will do – I prefer a tilt a door.
Now, see the door clearly in your mind – in the left side of the bubble.
When you have it clear – build another one on the right side of the bubble – same deal.
So, now, you have a bubble in space that in your imagination is your mind and it has two doors in it – left and right.
And that mind if full of thoughts – and you want it clear, that is the objective.
Good –
Now
Open the doors – and allow the thoughts to flow/fall/move out of ONE of the doors.
Allow them to leave – with love and affection – don’t hate them, they are only thoughts ------------------------------- let them go.
See them go.
Now when those thoughts have departed – you will find new thoughts entering ------------ don’t try and stop them – just let them come in if they wish – but, they must come in by the other door.
Just concentrate on the empty space in the bubble.
As any intruding thoughts come in the ‘in’ door ---- just allow them to' leave by the ‘out’ door. They are not to stay.
Just concentrate on the emptiness --------- the quietness – the calmness.
Your objective is a quiet, calm mind. Enjoy the blackness and the quiet – concentrate on the quiet – maybe even the black at the back of your eyes ----------- nothingness, a wonderful thing.
As interruptive thoughts enter – and you realise that one or more has snuck in – just GENTLY guide them out the out door – ‘gently’. After all, they are your thoughts.
Once you have the practice down pat ------------ which you will have very very quickly ---------
And once your mind is clear ------------ then just let that process run in the background – like a computer program – just ticking away in the back there.
Now – as you move through your daily life ----------- if you find you mind is full ------------- use the tool.
It is fine to use it as much as you want – regularly or irregularly.
And, if you have trouble getting to sleep at night ------------------ USE the tool – just concentrate on using the tool – nothing else.
If you sleep, but wake at 2 am or so and can’t get back to sleep ---------------- USE the tool.
That’s it.
I hope you enjoy it ----------- it works very very well for the vast majority of people.
I have taught this technique to hundreds of people - athletes of all levels - from bottom to Olympians. Company executives - usually level 1 to 3. Artists and performers - from non earners to world class.
It works.
Have a great day all
