It has probably been discussed in the past (based on TOE originally suggesting production was to commence in 2014)…..and we all know why everything was put on hold at that time…bloody tsunami!
So with the U-price now at around USD46 and production costs at around 45AUD (based on 2017 data)…. When is it that TOE will actually pull the trigger and build the mine…. Noting it’ll probably cost $300m to build.
Firstly they will need to negotiate terms with a company that has $ (say via a JV agreed to be the end of 2022) then assuming they start the build in 2023 and it takes a year to build, then production could start in 2024….when the U-price is above 50USD…or are they waiting for 60USD or 70USD??
A lot of ifs and buts and maybes…..
So it’d be nice….kind even, if management would throw the market a bone….so we don’t all keep having to fill the gaps ourselves!!
