Heard a dicussion on the Radio that UK to spend 300 million pounds on mineral based fire resistant cladding and also owners of buildings with sub standard cladding are offering low cost loans to unit owners to pay for repairs as well. Apparently there are other combustable cladding materials that were not on the Grenfell Tower that are also combustable.These other claddings are made of compressed paper and resin, the 300 million doesnt cover these other sub standard materials used.So the problem is bigger than first thought.
