Fact is groundzero, maybe you should choose not to operate in countries like those you mention where you're going to be forced, or bound (or by your mere presence), to give tacit approval to regimes that don't deserve it. If don't want to take any hire moral ground here personally - cos no doubt I would have done exactly what Anvil did - but maybe, just maybe, we've all get a bit consumed by the great orebody, the dollars, etc etc and with that blindness we all get involved in something that really stinks. Sure mining money builds schools, hospitals, gives jobs etc, but if the very foundations are rotten, then it's all a bit short term. Its a tough call
