According to todays announcement, production of Rock Phosphate from a new mine to be constructed in the NT will commence in April 2010. The boxes are being ticked.
Still to be ticked is the Traditional Owners. They have agreed to allow pre mine construction before the mining agreement is signed (roads etc).
Finance is yet to be finalised. Worst case scenario is a complete cap raise at 50 cents. More than likely is a partial cap raise and partial forward sales.
North American investors are quite interested and Toronto exchange listing is likely.
There are not many other speculative miners ready to begin a mine in 12 months.
