What is going to power that PMM? The us has both Direct drive turbines and motor generator drive. They use turbines for power with High volume, lo pressure, superheated steam. This is less efficient than High pressure low volume but allows for quite operation of turbines. Steam has to remain superheated through the entire cycle which is not easy. Any water droplets in the steam would make lots of noise and cause vibration. So only small changes in volume lots of change in pressure as steam goes through the turbines keeps everything verry quiet. The turbines also rotate at much slower speeds than commercial ones. Again, a compromise to efficiency for silence.
