Application number 01491 was lodged on 6th December 2022 to extend the mining envelope by 143 hectares in order to mine ore in satellite deposits on Koolan, in particular Acacia East and Mangrove deposits.
So it looks to be a dead certainty that the satellite mineral resources will become ore reserves.
Main pit was modelled for 2000 metres long x 215 metres deep.
Satellite deposit, Acacia East, has been modelled for 1500 metres long x 300 metres deep.
