Be it Li vs Co vs V vs Ni the world is a big place, it will take decades before everything is battery powered and then it will be ongoing, there will be different levels of performances available in batteries and hence different elements will be required unless we start mining bloody asteroids.
Lithium will be required for a long time imo and we have a good start on it here, plus i don't think Zimbabwe would sh@% in it's own nest so soon after they changed their window sign to "open for business"
