Lol - I agree RM - I am interested in supporting the little man.
However, the little man is not supported by no work. And the little man is not supported by allowing only a few multinationals to dominate.
However, in their deal with RIO, BHP, and Xstrata, this is exactly what Labor has done. They have established the MRRT which advantages the big player, and disadvantages the little player.
As this will start to limit the smaller players, the opportunity to find work (for the little man) will start to be limited to less and less players.
And it is the smaller miners will suffer as they have less to depreciate before the MRRT kicks in. Multinationals win.
Yet Labor set this up, and you, as a Labor supporter are silent.
Thanks for identifying that as a Liberal member (I did this in May thanks to the quality of government I saw under Rudd) that I am interested in social justice.
Because it is clear that Labor isn't.
