Those pics highlight the low head grade challenge that Peppie referred to. It is a challenge - not insurmountable though as evidenced by the several lower grade projects in play.

Yet, with the apparently exceptional nature of the Thunderbird deposit (it is huge) - it's still not financed years after discovery? And they're spending money drilling it out further, more drilling won't do anything for it's prospects of getting up soon. Why isn't Thunderbird financed? Because it's about more than just head grade and size. It's about end product, cost of production and, in an opaque marketplace, sand industry skill and relationships (who you know).

I'm not bagging Thunderbird, I'm on record in the SFX thread barracking for it to get up - just saying we need to sit back and see what Luke can do. Honestly, if he fails we've lost nothing because the market gives us nothing for Coburn anyway.
