Time to get on my soap box again. You pay a CEO for what they can do for a company. They are set KPI’s by the people paying him, in this case a board. You also pay a CEO on what he can deliver YEAR in YEAR out. If a company makes $10 million profit in a year the CEO should be numerated accordingly. When a company makes no money, the CEO should be paid accordingly, or sacked. My point is, the CEO should take a reduced wage until the company makes a profit. Not bleed the investors dry. A Good CEO would also talk to the investors and give them confidence in his ability. And yet here we are, getting bled with no end in sight. He should have put his mouth where our money is (purposely worded backwards) and said when all this would be over. Live and die by the sword. Not off of our money. Pathetic.
Back into my hole.
