All down to how you define charitable actions - if it helps 50 people feel better, but negatively impacts 5,000 who would like a job or be positively impacted by local people having jobs, is that ok? Poorly defined ground here. Sort of like the death penalty - if just one person escaped it who was innocent, does it make it worthwhile for the other 1,000 who did the crime and were put to death?
