I have done a lot of research on Susan Shabangu
and South Africa. Fistly this has been spoken about for years and comes up every election to try and grab votes.

Susan Shabangu made a comment that South Africa over the last 10yrs has lost 3% of GDP from unfavourable conditions for mining companies. In the light she made these comments do you think she would want to make it worst.


Secondly manny of the mining companies are listed on the African stock exchange, they would be taking mines from their own people.

Also by the state taking control of the assets, the black empowerment partners would also lose their share of the pojects. They would be stepping on some very powerful toes.


Can you imagine how share holders in South Africa would react if their shares were threatened by nationalisation of assets.
It doesnt matter what colour the skin, everyone would be wild.
