I don't know whether there is any untoward trading going on here or whether there is any sinister motivation behind it

A lot of us ( including me) have speculated more out of frustration than anything

AVB, and hundreds of other stocks, are being affected by the fact that, like it or not, we are in a bear market

More importantly, the strong Aussie dollar is killing any appetite for our stocks from foreign investors. The foreign cash is going to markets with low interest rates and weak currencies..I mean,why risk investing when any gains are likely to be wiped out by currency appreciation? Only a lowering of interest rates will do anything to alleviate this

Clearly, it would be nice to see Australian institutional investors pick up the slack here but they follow and do not lead
