Cdchi1 reports that NST have not been doing as well as he thinks they should and notes the following:
"Grade is the key, as it always is in gold mining, and last week the company slipped out a report last week which showed that the head grade at the Voyager Extension zone at Paulsens averages 14 grams of gold a tonne, as against the historic eight grams from the No.1 lode at Voyager, which has produced 150,000 ounces over the past two years".
I have carefully followed all of NST's press releases and nowhere do they say what the DILUTED GRADE (i.e. the mined grade) will be. They have certainly had some great hits, but often from strange intersections. For example they recently released a results of 30m @ 25.0g/t......sounds great, but it turns out to be a true width of only FOUR (4) METRES. That is, they drilled along the lode, not across it!
My prediction is that the grade might go up, but not by anything like the 75% that NST are predicting.
