The serious question is, why were they able to access/ buy/steal or be gifted the unlicenced, unregistered, unroadworthy vehicles in the first place? Who was the provider, and why should they not be revealed and punished along with the unitentional killer cowardly hoons? Why does our society put up with it?
Policing gone soft or not enough resources? These vehicles should be impounded and destroyed when
found to be in the hands of those who are using them unlawfully, and there shouldbe more dilligence paid to these misdemeanours before they become an issue on footpaths and the like.
Where are the parent/s , and should they / him /her be asked to respond?
Or is this tradegy another inoccent victim of the lawlessness of the society we have fostered.
