My wife and I are actually administrators of our SMSF because we are also the directors of the incorporated body (or entity)which is the trustee of the fund.

I don't think it is correct to say that the minimum pension required to be drawn by each member is whatever we (as administrators)advise.

Certainly we do have to write a letter to ourselves (which seems ridiculous)advising the amount of the minimum pension but we must get it right or the fund is rendered non-compliant and suffers significant penalties

Can anybody else throw any light on the subject?
