You are quite right in that vehemently is probably too strong a word and I apologise if I led anyone to believe I know more than anyone else, certainly NOT the case.

If they (RIO) wanted to surrender it they could have easily laid down and accepted that the documents were not received and therefore they f**ked up, this didn't happen so in light of a lack of other logical theories, they want it for one reason or another.

Re the lack of an announcement, I am not sure there is or was anything to announce if they believed they were on strong ground in their claim to renew the lease??

My thoughts only, I have no position in either company at present.
