If any HC CRC readers can get there and report on the tone of the meeting I'm sure everyone would be grateful.
Interesting is the reference to the amount of interest raised in the application. There are 100 jobs at stake here.
Note second last paragraph for anyone who'd like to participate on the 23rd.

NOTICE OF PAC MEETING
Proposed Dargues Reef Gold Mine
Major Creek Road, Majors Creek
Palerang Local Government Area
The Dargues Reef Gold Mine Proposal has been referred to the Planning Assessment Commission
for determination, under the terms of the Minister�s delegation.
For this project the Commission comprises:
Dr Neil Shepherd AM (Chair)
Mr Garry Payne AM; and
Mr Joe Woodward.
The application and associated documents, including the Department of Planning and Infrastructure�s
assessment report and recommendation, are publicly available on the Department�s website as well
as via the Planning Assessment Commission�s website www.pac.nsw.gov.au, see the Dargues Reef
Gold Mine, listed in the PAC Register.
Due to the level of public interest in the project, the Commission will be meeting to hear submitter�s
views on the recommendation, prior to determining the project.
The PAC Meeting will commence at 9.00 am on Tuesday 23 August 2011 at the Braidwood
Servicemen�s Club, on the corner of Coronation Ave and Victory St, Braidwood, NSW 2262. The
meeting will be open to the public and will continue if required.
Those who wish to comment on the Department�s recommendation can register to speak at the PAC
Meeting by contacting Megan Webb by Thursday 18 August 2011.
