Hi Daytr - My understanding as well.

I think I was merely asking an open question as to why CSFB weren't keen to throw more funds in, just to clarify, I wasn't trying to imply that they thought it was a bad project.

It's very rare that the initial lender (CSFB) would actively search out another bank to split the debt with considering the size so it was just a strange thing to happen.

I work directly in this space (but not for CSFB) which is why I try to post from time to time about the dealings of banks/ financiers regarding all forms of products in the market and hopefully give the everyday guy who buys and sells shares a little more of a look at what actually goes on in the background when it comes to senior lending/bonds/gold forwards/sandstorm deals etc.
