    imho no gas plant will be shelved at this stage because all of the gas they (all) have discovered has been onsold. if any do shelved it will most likely be the ones in gladstone (and possibly browse)

    some may be stalled however because of the lack of skilled labour whilst others finish such as gorgon. and here lies another problem - the conditions set for gorgon will help add to a massive over run. every nut and bolt going on the island has to be bubble wrapped - literally. even machinery is stripped down, wrapped up, shipped and then reassembled.

    whilst the gas has already been sold it is not beyond the realms of possibility that they are held off till the great gfc 2 hits and then everything will be cheaper and people will be begging for jobs - like a lot of people are doing now from overseas.
