Axiom retains its confidence in the success of the prolonged court battle with Sumitomo Metal Mining over ownership of the Isabel nickel project in the Solomon Islands.
Chairman Stephen Williams told the company’s AGM in Sydney the case was expensive and time-consuming but the support of shareholders enabled Axiom to overcome attempts to drag out the hearing to cause financial stress for the company.
