I sent a very polite email to co a few days ago asking a few general questions like:

1. what are moto engils aims in buying in (esp above market price?
2. why was shipping later than expected?
3. Where do you see the company in 12 months etc?


A few other questions as well. NONE of them market sensitive. And NONE of them written as a complaint or in negative tone.

My reason to email? I just wanted to see a few things explained from a company perspective rather than a press briefing.

The response was a curt..."congratulations for you interest in the company. Please read company announcements and reports to keep informed." basically that as all that was said and not one question was answered.

So if a director does read hotcopper. Please make sure to pass my disappointment on to the person who can't be bothered to provide a simple, honest non market sensitive email response to my questions. Also remind that person that this is a public company and as such the public (investors) are entitled to answers which sometimes may fall outside the realm on announcements and reports.

CNQ is in serious need of some communications development!

I am long term holder and hope they do well, but I do like courtesy.
