Its sad that many Malaysians favour rumour over science.

These anti-lynas fools and some older locals belief system is corrupt and its difficult to change.

If someone is taught their whole life that the sky is green with pink polka dots, then you come and tell them the sky is blue. They are likely to say, "no its green with pink polka dots".

Belief systems are very difficult to change and only with (re-)education can one hope to overcome the ignorance.
