My understanding is that the capability to produce potash at Olaroz is one of the options to be considered in the stage 2 development.

My recollection is that Olaroz came into existence entirely on the basis of lithium production, and potash has always been viewed as a byproduct of any lithium production. In other words without lithium production Olaroz would not have been built. So Stage 1 was all about getting lithium production up and running.

Having said that the projections indicate that potash could be profitably mined at Olaroz and if and when they do start producing potash for sale it will effectively push down the equivalent cost of the lithium production.
