What amazed me in watching the BBC news was the big deal about 1 dead and 4 injured, but no one wants to put the headlines about the petrochemical explosion that burned some 20 people, some beyond recognition as the following story. Funny world we live in.
About 10 years ago, when I was living in Kalgoorlie, the amount of persons killed in gold mining accidents per year was massive.
The amount of people that were killed in the coal mine accident far exceeded the amount of deaths over the year in Kalgoorlie.
Hmmm some balance wouldnt go astray. Nothing like making headlines.
