To build industry there would probably be some debt and quite a bit of upfront costs.....
so any return on that 26% wouldnt kick in until those factors were paid and profit was flowing in.
The imagined Trust wouldnt have to carry debt but would be empty for some time,imho.

So the cost and delays of legal wrangles, strikes, disharmony, vandalism etc... just add to the pre profit time span to wait for a payment into the trust.

I think that disadvantaged people are not part of the economic emancipation of the population because their indentity is ever changing, open to dispute and after generations getting more and more diluted and difficult to be represented fairly. Just reality of time and change,imo.
In other words its impossible to deliver a return for their displacement accurately or visably.For all to see.
Government is best placed to spread the royalties, taxes, benefits across the population,imo. That would be less costly and less divisive and less obstructive and time/money consuming,imo.

I think that the disadvantaged mans car...... hasnt even had the ore dug up to start producing it..... and the disadvantaged NEED it NOW.
Demanding it now wont build industry or encourage anyone to carry costs until they have built enough cars to repay their debts and hand out 26% of the cars for free.

The higher the wages bill, the lower the profit going to the 26% and the disadvantaged will have to wait longer.
Its unreasonable to place such demands on new ventures and there wont be many able to build those cars instantly or shower profits into the chosen disadvantaged very soon,imo.

Beng seem to want to take on the debt/costs/legal path which will also take time for returns and have challenges to deliver benefits to changing/drifting/intermingling clouds of historically disadvantaged as opposed to the upfront available few representing those clouds...

do I speak fluff about impossible stuff?
Some-one has unrealistic expectations ....to be delivered to ? which tribe and which king? or should we say anyone in need, living in poverty,disabled etc.in the area/reach of that heirarchy.
The government which ever level SA wish to choose should be handling compensation/charity/support
instead of letting a feeling of entitlement to this or that group and a general feeling of deprivation fester on and on, to only harm all of SA society and stifle the growth of their economy.

Perhaps the target will change.... if its too difficult to make those eventual profits ....and the aim be directed at just securing a commodity? Let the country worry when there are no profits....
What incentives are there to generate profits ...profits ...so unpopular with the anti capitalists.
Its going to be a very strange economy over there,imo.
