African countries have political risk with them, its already reflected in the share price and so it doesn't matter, whether you give up 5% or 25%, you always have to give some thing to the govt. The costs of doing business in Africa is cheaper, so they balance each other out, anyways.
The extreme risk you have in Africa is that its always in conflict in one part or the other. If MNS get unlucky in that regard, well things can go pear shaped. Tanzania luckily isn't in conflict
