Some back of the envelope calculations for revenue come up with simply amazing numbers. At 7.5 mt per annum, they'll be getting 450 000 t of valuable heavy metal (HM at 6%). Then if you take one of the components of this, zircon (18% of the HM), that's about 80 000 t. Last I checked, zircon is over 800 bucks a ton. So from this alone, that's revenue of 640 million dollars (!!!). The other HMs are not quite as valuable, but are still in the 100s per ton, so will make significant revenue. Now I don't know operating costs of course, but mineral sands mining is much less expensive than other traditional mining techniques. I think this could be a billion dollar company if all goes as planned.
