Robertson Range (RR) mining plan officially lodged with the WA Govt, (Xmas eve) with a (minimum) 12-15 year mining life expectancy (?) from existing JORC results with many more RC drilling outcomes to follow over the next few months or so.
Other RR noteworthy points include; * excludes iron mineralisation and resources yet to be defined at the South West Zone or of a conceptual nature at other nearby exploration prospects.
* This resource estimate represents an incremental 7% increase over the 28.6Mt resource as announced 17 September 2007. * The ultimate potential of the iron ore resource at the Robertson Range prospect (North, Saddle & South Zone) is in the order of 35-40 million tonnes. RC drilling of extensions to mineralisation in the Saddle Zone and South Zone are currently underway (please see ASX release of potential upside and corresponding projects)
* A high success rate and low discovery cost of iron mineralisation and resources continue to confirm the excellent potential of FerrAus Pilbara iron ore projects.
IN ADDITION; These results do NOT include the nearby Davidson Creek project which is reported to potentially yield 100MM tonnes +. The confirmation of this discovery is planned in early 2008.
With solid management and great FE tenements, the outlook on FerrAus IMHO is looks very bright ...however as always, DYOR.
